But man, my lady friend was surprisingly in the gift-receiving mood. She told me that her tablet was dying. I bought it five years ago, so I guess that's a good amount of time for a tablet.
I get the feeling that I wrote about this before.
But here's new information. I told her to look at tablets and see if there's something she likes. I said I'd pay up to £300.
She decided to stick with Amazon's Fire tablet. I got her an Amazon Fire tablet five years ago. It's a cheaper tablet so no problem, although she went with the most expensive model. It is the model I suggested, in fairness.
But then she also gives me a list of cases and memory...whatever they are...that she wants. So that was another £50. The total was £250 so still less than the £300 I suggested but...I don't know. Wanting a case, I can maybe see that. But memory? Get your own memory.
She's going to get me a couple of buttons and a bag of Iceland brand sweets.
