Your MOT testing station are wrong.If when they test it they find a minor problem & then fast track retest it they cannot predate cert.If they carry out partial retest (stayed at VTS)then they can predate.The only way now is for them to issue (as previous post) a replacement cert which will allow the date adjustment.
