Best regards
My greatest regret regarding your comments,is that you don't know me,or have clearly never met me.
If I had been paid for articles written,or for every piece of knowledge or advice given,I would now be an extremely wealthy man.
If you read some of my recent articles and topics or attended the FREE seminars at Mechanex, you would have heard me say, that our greatest threat to future survival within the aftermarket sector is the manufactures and main dealerships.
The unrelenting evolution of vehicle electronics has already placed the aftermarket repair sector in chaos.
In order to keep abreast of developing technologies ,a large amount of my personal leisure time is taken up with R&D and developing my skills to meet future challenges.
And these are continually embodied in our training courses,or e-learning, to ensure that delegates attending will have immediate benefit.
For example I have just spent the last week developing CAN de-bugging techniques in order to address the overwhelming problems that manufactures are currently experiencing in software and multiple BUS systems.
The training courses that we provide ensure that our delegates and associates not only aware of the challenges but are able to enjoy profitability and success with first time fixes.
Not withstanding the many hours with a cross section of tools, the advice that we then pass on avoids the risk of an inappropriate purchase.
It is through this network , and it is my personal ambition that technicians who have invested a great deal of time in gaining and maintaining the necessary skills, should be recognized and rewarded for their effort.
The industry has suffered for many years due to the fragmented way and critical manner that we appear to voice over our own industry.
If fellow technicians within the industry cannot respect these skills, what chance of the general public?
Frank
P.S
My Old school motto was "knowledge is strength"
