Hi lads its going to be a big problem in a year or three with the cars that are sold today, I now have a large Notice on a board in the reception warning of these issues and advising the change of timing belts at a lower mileage, explaining it could cost them £1000 plus if the belt go's, it also informs them of the problems VW and Audi have now got with long term servicing, most of the customers that read the notice say that they were under the impression that long term servicing was due to better lubricants and engine components and did not realize the long term damage affecting these vehicles, this information should be made more available to the general public.
