Some companies will charge a setup fee, this may be the case if you are a new business Most existing customer can usually change to a rival who will wave a setup fee, and commission charges will be based on your expected turnover of card business each quarter, usually backed up with past statements As a new business you may have take what you can get, and then re negotiate after a year......i would try your bank first, as a new business you should not pay bank charges for the first year, so you can offset against any card setup fees......or build the cost into your pricing and invoices HTH Peter
