I have serviced a lot of cars still under manufactures warranty. Goggle BER and you will what the law is. But basic,s are the service is carried out as per schedule, oe parts used, in the case of a ford Delphi parts are ok as the ford one,s have delphi on them, and you are VAT registered.
If there is a fault and it goes back to the Dealer it,s best if you or the customer goes in with a print of the BER if the dealer say,s they can,t help as it was not dealer seviced.
Resently a customer of mine had a turbo play up on a Mondeo, as it was 04 i sent the customer to the Dealer, who said it was not under warranty due to non dealer servicing, upon which the customer produced my invoice,s for servicing and a copy of BER. then they back down and it was a warranty Claim.
