OE parts DO NOT NEED to be used, the description under BER is that 'matching quality' parts must be used. Most major brands are reaching this level. The problem for many garages is proving that the parts they fit ar 'MQ', all branded parts from us are of MQ, so we can supply certificates for all such products, please ask your local branch. DON'T get hoodwinked into thinking that parts from the dealers ARE OE, in many cases (Vauxhall Trade Club, Peugeot TC etc) they are not the OE item, indeed some are not even MQ, most clutches from main dealers are re-manufacturered, how can they possible be OE or even MQ. As ever, it's a bit of a minefield, but tread carefully & you'll be fine. Just ask your supplier for the MQ certificates when you use them, see if they can supply said item. HTH, regards, Rob.
