I have noticed a pattern developing where several of my customers have been involved in minor shunts,notified their Insurance company and the car has been whipped away before they can blink.

A phone call follows next day to say repair is uneconomic and they are going to write it off their is no chance of getting it back to take it to a local repairer who may well be able to repair at a vastly reduced cost using pattern parts etc etc.

Latest instance rover 25 03 plate slight damage to rear, she backed into a post at 2 mph easily done! single woman panicked into agreeing by what I consider to be bullying tactics by her insurers.

Are they up to something like trying to remove all cars over 4 years old from the road, or are they repairing them and exporting to third world countries.

can any body-shop boys out there shed any light ?
