'All mechanics have to do is plug a computer into the faulty models ECU to to download the code, cross referencing this number to a database relating to the car REVEALS THE EXACT PROBLEM, AND THE FIX, TOO'
(if only it was that easy!!!!)
Then he says ' Even if the garage does get the details, the fault codes aren't flawless. They can be misleading causing technicians to replace components believing they are faulty'
(Make up your mind!!)
It is annoying where somebody in this position can publish damaging information to our industry. I will certainly be sending him an email to complain.
