I think owners will need to read the small print very carefully. After 30 to 40K the amount paid by GM will drop, over 80K the customer will have to pay 60% of the cost, not sure if the warranty will cover all labour and diagnosis costs I can see this being open to abuse and disputes over who pays what Customer will still have to pay normal servicing costs. A visit once a year to a dealer does not mean they have to have any recommended work done at the dealer. Having it serviced at an Independent will not invalidate their warranty under the new BER Desperate measures by GM Peter
