Had a retest in today from a trader. Failed last week due to stability control light on. Light now does not come on at all. I thought this would be a fail. Yes, but only if it is fitted. If you remove the abs unit completely with sensors and disable the light it is a pass and advise. (Page one 3.2 of abs) if I remember correctly. Used to be if it was fitted as standard it had to be there and work. To think this car is being sold to an unsuspecting customer. Phoned VOSA to make sure this was correct. I think there was more time spent getting around the rules than just fixings the bloody thing. Regards Les
