Had a good customer with a 307 which I failed with the light on and also a chap with a Rover 75 which failed, well they both went away and the chap with the 307 had an expensive comms unit fitted to put the light out, he then came back for a retest, while he was stood in my office waiting for his ticket the chap with the Rover came in and blurted out 'I've just been told If I remove the bulb then it will pass' the look on my customers face with Peugeot was not good.... obviously peeved off I have not told him he could do this.
As an MOT station surely its not right to be telling customers how to get round the rules, we also repair cars so should I be removing these bulbs as well to keep my customers happy??
