I've just tackled my brother over this. He reckons that he has done a "IMI" course on fitting stereos. I asked him what this course consisted of and in his words "How to hard wire radios in and cambust wiring". His words - not mine! Apparently its a three day course. I have to say that he is not the most trustworthy informant as he does have a tendency to big himself up. I think I might take this up with the IMI as I'm a member and feel pretty miffed that Halfords can promote their staff as IMI qualified after an apparent 3 day course! He's not even a soddin' member!! Makes my 5 years of training seem a little OTT if all I needed to be qualified is a few days training
