We purchased a number plate machine from Signam 5 years ago, more as a convenience for ourselves than the amount of number plates we produce.
we have always purchased all our number plate supplies from them, and renewed the licence every year.
The licence has now expired and when I phoned to renew it again, we have been told unless we are able to spend £1000 a year we can sod off.
The guy on the phone explained they did'nt want our business any more and reckons they have no record of us buying anything off them since 2010, which considering they have no record of renewing our licences doesn't look good for there record keeping.
I have just spoken to another garage locally who are in the same situation.
Since the day we purchased our machine we have had no contact from Signam, so we are more than a little p****d off to now have stock but no way of making plates.
They have washed there hands of all small businesses with no contact at all.
