Hi Mike, just to say we have been for the past 15 years been using a Dos based system called WheelBase from Ego computers it is a very professional system with good diary booking systems allowing you every possible scenario in booking jobs, work sheets to final invoicing, intergrated with a very comprehensive parts package which can import your suppliers part no's pricing etc. without you having to manually sit down and input zillions of prices and part no's.
Having used the old Dos package for so many years we are upgrading to their windows package of the system which has all the advantages of windows with even more bells and whistles. the package comes as a Workshop module, Parts module, and car sales module, all modules link into Sage as an accounts package its not cheap but a very proffesional package each module costing £995 per module + Sage if you require it other wise I think you can have their old Dos accounting system which we are familiar with but only as we have been using it for years and know its annomilys. We have always had their support for the old Dos package which over the years we have had a number of gripes but over all I know they are a business trying to make a profit like us all they havent served us badly. Also as they have been serving the Motor Trade for so long they understand our requirements.
