    Hi Brodie A friend who has worked most of his life in the computer industry told me that so long as you keep away from "dodgy" sites and don,t open any attachments unless you are sure of their origin then you are quite safe.The problem I think with virus protection programmes is that they only work on known viruses and are pretty much out of date as soon as you buy it, a bit like the equipment itself.He has simple advice to me anything that comes from an unknown source should be immediately deleted and any email purporting to be from an official source would not asking for personal details ie passwords.
