The database only contains what is written on the registration certificate (ie not much). Hence the huge no. of options. We insist on a registration doc. now. Its amazing how many are incomplete, no engine no., strange model descriptions etc. At least with it in your hand you can see what the data you enter onto the system is being compared to, and act accordingly. Why they want all this data will remain one of the great unsolved mysteries of our time.
