Euro Car Parts Recent Price Hike! No Surprise there! #

Hi All,
Obviously now that ECP and Co have bought out further competition, I suppose it was always going to be on the cards that they would hike up the prices!
I am a little shocked to see how far they have gone and how soon!
Understand their purchase costs would have increased by 'Brexit' but really???? We are not even there yet.
Anyone else seen this noticeable increase yet?
The main dealer deals are looking more and more attractive!

Yes I have noticed a price increase over the last couple of weeks

I did query with my branch and they said as I do not spend enough my discount gets less (I work on my own, how much do they think I can spend??)

I spoke to a rep and he confirmed this, I told him this was a crazy idea. It's a bit like your house insurance renewal it always goes up, but new customers get a far better price. If you want more of my business then surely you would increase my discount to keep me on board, not take it away......their loss

Not used AP so much recently, I know they need to re-stock, but when I give them part numbers for filters etc they don't seem to have them and send an alternative (which i did not ask for). Not to sure why they should have Crosland on their shelves (thought that was an ECP brand only

)

What with Brexit and inflation knocking on the door of 4% we could see parts prices still rising

I have always been a loyal customer of one factor, but find myself checking around 3 or 4 now on prices, which I hate doing

Interesting times ahead

My local E.C.P branch have had a massive price increase, I've hardly purchased anything from them for weeks now, Used T.P.S, A.p, G.S.F more, I thought it was down to my branch being small and there is a massive A.P not that far away?, But it looks like it might be country wide?

Any way on the bright side it might help us all hit our Christmas target to get a free T.V or play station if we aren't spending at the moment, lol
