Hi Bryan. The quickest and perhaps safest way of testing these coils without firing up picoscope is attaching a plug lead between coil pack and plug left in situ and then attach timing light to plug lead and watch the flashes (or lack of them). I always advise buying four but so far advice not accepted. Not had any comebacks with after market stuff nor another trip to replace the others.
