Thanks for all your replies, sorry i haven't replied myself haven't been online for a while. Mark tried an idle control valve but no different. Peter checked sensor by backprobing supply voltage 5 v earth is good and signal wire nothing. Tried another sensor but still the same, think it must have a fault in the e.c.u.
