Many thanks for all posts inc all those about returning parts you've fitted, I was only joking and totally agree about everything should come sealed and once opened you've no chance of returns.

Anyway back to the repair, I scoped both cam and crank at both sensors and at the ecu, both had good patterns.
I dual scoped and saw they were within limits so went for the ecu.
Fitted new ecu and all is ok.
