Thanks for the reply,i did think of valve timing but the customer told me that this happened very suddenly,driving 100% to the shop and when he came out it would not restart,so i thought it was more of a sensor fault.
I got 2 new sensors,as they are problematic on this model,and it made no difference.I have arranged to borrow the timing chain locking tools so i can check the valve toming.(i have heard that this engine is prone to breaking timing chain guides)
I will post my findings.
