I did one of these last week, and took traces from the coil, unfortunately its at work, but I'll get it tomorrow.

Mine was the coil pack (red), no fault codes stored, but thats where my problems started......

Customer was unwilling to pay for a genuine coil (£245), so decided to source his own. Euro car parts £80.... lasted 1 week, then intermittent no start.

Second coil from ECP wouldn't even start car....

ECP then refused exchange or refund, even though the car ran fine with donor coil from my own car.

Customer then sourced Intermotor coil from local motor factor,£200, this lasted 12 hours before developing secondary misfire.

Again car ran fine with my genuine coil fitted, so I purchased a coil from saab fitted it, and told the bloke to come back and pay in a week if he had no more problems....

He has paid...

Moral of the story.... Don't compromise your reputation with inferior quality parts. But I do think I've gained a customer because of the extra effort I put in....

Anyway , Your firing traces look a little short, I'm sure mine were more of a square wave..... will try and post tomorrow....+
