Vehicle came on the back of an AA van who said that the battery had a bad connection to the starter?
I checked for a relay and found one, I bridged pins 2 and 8 (starter switch) and the car starts everytime obviously either a relay fault or a relay control fault? Had a new relay in stock so tried it but still the same? Checked pin 6 which comes from pin 2 wire and both are live and pin 7 which is relay earth is good, however pins 1, 3 and 9 show no signs of life at all? 1 is from the transmission tr switch 3 is from the tran control module and 9 is from the ECM, any ideas what i should be seeing at these pins or what I should be checking next? as autodata was no help!!
