Good to see that you got a fix on this and posted it here. Know what you mean about ramps - I hate them! When I visit a garage and the car is on a ramp, I get them to move it off because as you say you can't open the doors properly or they end up banging on the ramp posts. Also, when you have to move around the car, I am forever tripping over the ramps. The car tends to be higher up than on a normal level which can cause access problems. My garages now know what the score is when I have to visit them.
