If the BSI has been wiped then it will not matter what tool you are using, no tool should be able to read the correct chassis no. ( just pppppppp ) I did one on friday and i managed to program everything up manualy But I was left with 1 problem / fault code, It said ABS unit incorrect for this vehicle. fit correct ECU. ??? I tried it as ABS and ESP and got the same result, so I let the car go as the ABS worked and all the warning lights went out, not ideal but at least it runs. Also its funny how after configuring the BSI how it sometimes leaves a message on the Display saying Auto lights Malfunction , even though it has been configured to not have Auto-Lights. ?? That message goes away after it has been left to go to sleep for a while. ( silly french cars )
