Peugeot 307 2.0 16V RFN 2001 - Non start after jump starting a second time - Fixed #
Posted by David Houghton on August 27, 2010, 11:20 am Vehicle towed into us, non start. The story is that the veh had been parked up for quite a while then jump started of another veh, then driven approx 2 miles and due to temp gauge reading high(leak on rad-very little coolant in system)cust pulls over to let it cool, then attempts to jump start it again-non start. After checking over it and charging the batt, engine will crank and has inj pulse on all cyl's,no spark tho.Using Autodiagnos fault codes in ecu are P0606-ecu/pcm processor-which will not erase.Out of interest scanned bsi unit fault codes are 842c-no comm on the data bar wire, driving school cm and 8438-deadlocking control,in controlled mode.Neither of which will erase.I would imagine the 2nd jump start has spiked the marelli ecu but was just wondering if any peugeot tech's out there had experienced this before.Any thoughts welcome. Thanks, Dave h
