Re the location of the ecu, it is under the top panel of the left hand side of the dash board, just back from the windscreen with the pollen filter. I had a nightmare with one of these, then found the culprit was a hungry mouse that had been nesting in the pollen filter, so the wiring back to the ecu is well worth a check!! Let me know if you need any additional location info for the ECU
