piotr/dave thanks for replies,i havent checked wiring at ecu yet piotr,i did try but customer needed car back and i havent much information on location of ecu,just autodata but its a bit vague,i will do that next and report.dave,thanks for your very useful information on ecu updates,do you happen to know if this applies to AZJ 2.0 petrol engines as my local vw main dealer is not much help on this many thanks dave
