Hi guys

Need help on this one, got a 54 plate VW Beetle 2.0 with AZJ engine.

Car drives ok up to around 3000 revs, then EPC light comes on and rev counter becomes erratic jumping between 3000/3500 revs. Carried out code read with launch 16705/p0321 ign distributor engine speed input circuit G28 range/performance int. Replaced crank sensor but still exactly the same.

Checked crank sensor and cam sensor images on scope, pictures look ok [havent got crank versus cam picture to compare to but signals look ok] have changed plugs because wrong ones fitted after service and checked timing belt but all looks fine. Car is doing my head in now so any help would be great
