I think i Remember a conversation with a Toyota Tech a couple of years ago about this problem and he said that they had widened the parameters to stop the ecu logging P0420, ( new ecu ) So unless the vehicle fails an emnissions test is it really worth replacing the Cat or the ecu as neither are really defective and you could end up changiing both. ??
