The day after having the above vehicle in for service! On the customers way home the Traction Control and Battery Charge Light came on.
The next morning the car fired, then stopped and failed to start. We then had to recover the car. I then scanned the Meriva with a Snap On Solus and it presented the following codes:

U2108-CANBUS NO COMMS WITH ABS/TC.
U2107-CANBUS BCM STATUS NOT RECIEVED
P1615-BODY CONTROL MODULE WRONG VEHICLE ID
P1616-INST CONTROL MODULE WRONG ID
U2104-CANBUS RESET COUNTER OVERRUN.

Initially the codes would not clear. Likely to be coincidence i suspect but I unplugged and reconnected the crankshaft sensor and the car then started and allowed me to clear the codes. All seemed ok untill several days and journeys in the car later, car failed to start and all fault codes had returned. Sometimes the traction control and charge light are on and engine still runs.Have removed bcm and checked terminals all look perfect,removed inst panel and checked connections all look good,appears to be CAN fault but stuck for ideas now any tips/ideas much appreciated.
