Hi Norman ,
If it was my job (so glad it isn't) i would go back to basics , check what is going on with the old vacuum guage to make sure you don't have a sticky valve , tappet jacking etc , check fuel flow , cylinder leakage etc. I assume engine performance is ok ?.
What make of coil pack did you fit ?
