Thank you for your reply, There is no voltage present at the ect plug, which begs the question where does the voltage come from?. I had checked insulation to earth on both wires from the plug and both are OK. With KOEO the temperature in live data is ambient regardless of thye actual temp of the engine, ditto with the plug removed. With KOER the temp rises steadily as the engine is kept running, but i think that is probably a default setting. Regards, Neil.
