Having sorted out all off the electrical gremlins, This thing would still not run properly nor would it idle and throws up fault code P0170. All of the problems with the vehicle have been caused by various kerbside bodgers who have fitted a new ECU [Then damaged it], Fitted a new idle control stepper motor [wrong one], fitted a s/h inlet manifold and refited the throttle body with so much silicone that it blocked one of the vacuum ports, fitted the servo pipe to the wrong outlet, put the wrong spark plugs in and damaged one of the plugs for the ECU. So I ran a few tests, CO etc reading high with high HC and a vacuum gauge reading very low. All of this was caused by an alternator belt shredding, getting wound round the bottom pulley and then into the timing belt cover causing the exhaust cam to skip two teeth, New belt fitted and now runs as sweet as a nut............
