We Had this C3 in Yesterday for the engine light stopping on, We could clear the fault code but it would come straight back on after starting. ??

What checks should i have done and how many possibilities are there of things that might cause it to log the code P0170. ??

When I checked, It stated that the Fault code was logged at 0 RPM, at 0 M/Bar Map reading and at - 40 degrees c. ?? I Suspected an ecu fault at first.

I carried out one procedure and it gave me an idea what the problem could be.

So What can cause it to log P0170. ??
And what was the item causing the problem. ??
