HI if anyone can help me, customer came in to us with oil light coming on. It is a Corsa D 1.2 2009 after having a quick look I found the usual oil leak out of the oil pressure switch, after replacing the oil pressure switch dealer part used I noticed oil light was on but when you raised the engine speed oil light goes out. So I checked in the oil filter to make sure that the little valve is not stuck in the oil filter as I have had that before. So I performed a oil pressure check and it was lower than it should be on idle going off Autodata so the only thing I could think of was the oil pump was faulty so after ringing the dealer they said that there was a repair kit for the oil pump and they have sold a lot of them this year. Anyway I have fitted the oil pump repair kit from dealer but it’s still the same so I am running out of ideas can anyone help? Many thanks Andrew
