Update on fault
Oil warning on dash is no longer on,as too remote batt and when i went in to work yesterday to work on it, i connected battery and it wasn't in economy mode the radio came on and it stayed that way for all of 2 mins.Cranked it and still the same.Think code P0053 heater resistance may be that the connector plug was full of oil?cleaned it but code remains> i generated some codes by unplugging sensors cranking and they came up but refuse to clear from memory there is a new code (undocumented 313H/787 )? surely i would have a code for ECU too if it was faulty
Checked for voltage at coils no voltage or signal. scoped
cam and crank sensors they are producing a signal when cranking,ECU has power.So we aint got No spark and no injector pulse. Going to check pin data next, to see where coils voltage comes from(must be hundred wires on this ECU)I Phoned BBA reman and they can test ECU but they are busy and its a 7 day turnaround at mo.
