Hello Gerald, I have seen a similar fault several times before. It has been due to adaption of misfire detection. This is called rotor gear adaptation. You need to reset this after repair or the car will switch off cylinders thinking they are misfiring as it has not adapted correctly. Please let me know if you would like any more info.
