it was a type approved one, and took my fitter all morning to put in, roll forward 3 weeks and its back with a cat below efficiency code. so we stuck it on the gas machine and the emissions were a pass, so we fitted one of these.

the price of the new cat from toyota would have written a perfectly diecent car off.
i would recommend filling the front of the extender with wire wool first , that way it will slow the o2 sensor response time right down, we tried it with out first time ,at idle it looked good but at 2500 rpm it went back to switching like the front one.
so buy a extender that has room for the sensor and some packing.
