This car has come in with 3 engine managment fault codes reporting AC relay, fan No.2 faults etc but it has no air conditioning fitted.

I have an old version of IDS but I'm not that familier with it and can't get it to communicate with the car properly. It keeps telling me that the cars engine ECU is blank and is asking for the ECUs part number etc.

Is it possible to change the configurations in the engine ECU to tell it that there is no aircon or is this going to be a software update?
