Hello Tony,thanks for the reply. I will hopefully get to do some more testing tomorrow.I suppose it could be noise from the starter interfering with the crank signal.i checked the engine control relay (109)which seems to be ok.The fact that the engine has just been replaced made me think that the pump that came fitted to this engine needed recoding to the immobiliser.I am sure i have read some posts about the immobiliser being partly in the injection pump.Anyway,i will hopefully have some more info tomorrow.
