    Still giving me grief,
Fitted new cam sensor after problems getting one, fault code cleared now but still getting the same symptoms:-
    Lumpy idle, sooty plugs.
Low and variable manifold vacuum, MAP 51-55 kPa (checked with vac gauge),
Cam timing checked out again, spot on.
It seems as if the low vacuum is causing everything to richen up, about 2000rpm and it all seems ok lambda starts switching etc.
Compression tests are inconclusive but compressions on 3 and 4 are about 10-15 psi lower than 1 and 2, could it be early stages of headgasket failure?
    Any ideas welcome!

    Shaun
