Had this fault a couple of times. We run car up on dyno and hold at 2500rpm full throttle. Attach vacuum pump to turbo, as you pump it up watch boost pressure rise. Release vacuum you should see boost fall away but it normally stays high for a few seconds indicating that the variable vane mechanism is sticking so ECU can't control the boost so shuts down. New turbo always cures this one. Hope this helps Martin
