Range Rover 3.5 EFi 1987 - Poor drivability, flat and stalling #Archived Message

This has the 4CU system on it, so diagnostics by multimeter then . Symptoms: poor driveability, flat, stalling etc. Initial check for fuel pressure show it's in spec and holds up when the throttle is snapped open. Gas analyser shows a Lambda of 1.4'ish, CO of 0.08, wonder it runs at all! Customer has tried another ECU (so did I). Neither is the original as that died (must ask customer if that's when the problem started). CTS is in spec. Checked extensively for air leaks etc. no problems found. The lid is loose on the MAF but customer says he has not fiddled with it. Marked MAF and adjusted to show more flow and vehicle is much better. Anybody have any ideas? Shaun.
