Hi Alan, I have missed the deleted posts, so I don't know if anyone has tried to help, have you checked the cam timing? By that I mean taken a very close look at the front pulley and phonic wheel and crank sensor. I have had problems with the pulley coming loose and wearing the keyway so much that the cam and ignition timing will RETARD as you try to rev it up. It gives the impression of a lack of fuel.To check this, you will need to strip the front pulley off and look behind it. It is not enough to just check that the marks are lined up, as everytime I have come across this problem, they have lined up again as the engine has stopped!
