I agree with Gwyn in that it could be the crank pully/belt sprocket keyway worn. >>>>as everytime I have come across this problem, they have lined up again as the engine has stopped!<<< The above statement is a little misleading though as due to the fact the phonic wheel and the crank belt sprocket are both at the front, the timing marks will always line up even if crank is is not inline. The relative position of the pullies does not change only the reletive position of the crankshaft. Mike
