    Hi all.
Had this in today from local garage they have fitted head gasket.Revs go up to 3500/4000 and stay hung there clamp off pipe to air control valve revs come down. So far i found wiring at rear of head chaffed through, i repaired but still same. no faults logged, changed ecu reset adaptions tps set at 0.6v, swapped throttle housing changed stepper motor, checked wiring continuity from stepper to ecu. Can't locate any air leak.vacuum 18" Have checked archives only thing i have'nt done yet as stated in there is change coil and re-route ht lead I'll try to morrow.when i clamp pipe off and engine idles all emission readings look ok.When the revs hang up i noticed ex/manifold start to glow this must be running weak. I'm thinking of removing inlet manifold in case its leaking between cylinders, not externally.also valve timing checked. sorry for long post, but this one i thought was going to be simple diagnosis.Any ideas welcome.
