Thanks both for the replies. I have moved along a bit (not much ) with this one. I have taken some captures today (surprise surprise ). I did a road test capture of the O2 sensor vs Injector voltage. With 10 seconds on screen & the sample rate on maximum it shows great detail in the injector waveform. The conclusion is though, that the motor is running lean throughout the acceleration period. Why the hell I didn't do this test a few days ago I don't know . Still learning the craft hey! Anyway here is the capture...... At the start of the capture I am in first gear at 2000 RPM steady throttle, injector duration is 2.8ms. then full throttle applied (inj PW 11.28ms) up to maximum RPM where injector duration reaches 16.01ms. Throughout this period the Oxygen sensor remains in the lean state. Next I check fuel pressure again whilst doing the same full throttle acceleration & it doesn't dip bellow 38psi (2.620008 bar). Maybe this slightly lower than the specified pressure is the cause of my problem. Cheers for now Dave (Hill)
