Firstly, many thanks to Dave Harney for helping me on the phone! Garage called to say had disconnected the battery overnight, and when reconnected it, turned on the ignition, heard a lot of clunking and wiring from under the bonnet, and it started, then idled perfectly for a few minutes, and throttle responded as expected. Then idle started to deteriorate and now it's back to original problem. Has it got a poor contact somewhere, or other problem, which can be intermittent, or did it loose it's original adaption data, and perhaps perform a corrupted readaption? I know it takes 30 seconds or so to readapt, and the guy probably didn't leave it for that length of time before starting the engine. Regards, Nick Bell
